The Most Common Mistakes in English Pronunciation

This book contains a list of about 1.000 words which are frequently used in our day-today life but commonly mispronounced by many of us. specially our young learners. The words (given in Part-2) are arranged in alphabetical order and are shown with their common mistakes side by side with their correct pronunciations in Bengali as well as in phonetic forms. The list is drawn basing on the author’s experience and observation of the general trends of our English pronunciation. The book is in fact, a modest attempt of the author to help the learners young and old students and teachers – to identify their common mistakes and improve upon them. For better understanding and specially for those who intend to pursue the subject a little thoroughly. A brief yet realistic discussion has been appended in Part 1 of This book. Though appearing slightly theoretical. this portion has also been made quite easy interesting and useful by bringing it down to the level of common understanding of the general readers.
